Rainforest Adventure

We had some very exciting visitors at St Andrews on Friday:  Zoo Lab Uk with lots of exotic animals!  We got to get up close and experience giant land snails, giant millipedes, a corn snake, a tarantula, and other interesting creatures.
It was a super start to our topic this term which is living things.  Already we can see the massive variety of life that is on earth, and are looking forward to doing more research!

  1. My favourite animal was definitely the corn snake. I was very surprised at how flexible and strong it felt, despite being so small. I also was surprised at how dry the skin was, I had thought it would have been more slippery! What was your favourite animal?

  2. My favourite animal was the corn snake as well. I think I got over my fear of snakes.

  3. I am scared of snakes so I wasn't found of it, but I faced my fear by touching the snake. I really enjoyed the rainforest adventure because I got to feel the animals.

  6. I've never really been scared of animals, so this was a good activity. It also fits in with our project. Next I would like to get baby chicks in the classroom.
